Lime Pictures has launched its new digital and social media team, Digital16.
The new division builds on the legacy of Lime Digital, the in-house digital team originally created within Lime Pictures, part of ALL3Media.
The Lime Digital team was responsible for launching the early social media presence for some of the UK’s most recognised television brands including E4’s Hollyoaks, ITV2’s The Only Way Is Essex, (TOWIE) and E4’s Celebs Go Dating.

Now relaunched as Digital16, the company will continue to work with key clients including Channel 4, Optomen and Wise Owl Films on brands such as Hollyoaks, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive & Kids, Princess Diaries, Sort Your Life Out and Bad Boyfriends. It will also maintain and develop a range of commercial campaigns and social action initiatives working with partners to create brand-driven content and audience driven campaigns that extend television storytelling beyond the screen.
Lime’s recently promoted head of digital Graham Gallery, who will head up Digital16, said: “Our roots go back to the early days of social media for television, with Digital16 we’re building on that experience to help brands, creators and media companies connect with audiences in smarter and more creative ways. Lime Pictures is part of the All3Media group, a major UK-based independent television production and distribution company. Formerly known as Mersey Television, Lime was acquired by All3Media in 2005 and is known for producing shows such as Hollyoaks, The Only Way Is Essex, and Geordie Shore. Formerly jointly owned by Warner Bros Discovery and Liberty Global, All3 was acquired by erstwhile Telegraph suitor RedBird IMI in a £1.15bn, 2024 acquisition.
