Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity joined forces with Taskmaster recently for a major fundraising livestream, supported by Leeds-based digital agency Engage, which designed and built the campaign microsite.
The site brought the livestream, fundraising progress, campaign information and donation journey together in one place, while blending elements of both GOSH Charity and popular Channel 4 gameshow Taskmaster’s visual identities into a playful, event-led experience.
Presented by comedians Alex Horne and Jake Bhardwaj on Saturday 5 September, Taskmaster Live Stream: GOSH Charity Edition brought together 10 content creators, including TommyInnit, MatPat, Ayamé and Hayley Morris, who competed in teams of two across a series of Taskmaster-inspired challenges.

Great Ormond Street is one of the leading children’s hospitals in the world and the most technologically advanced children’s hospital in the UK. The fundraiser, which has raised over £277,000 so far, was supporting GOSH Charity’s Build it. Beat it. appeal, which is raising £300 million to help build a new world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH, drive transformation in children’s cancer care and save more lives.
Through the microsite, viewers could watch the livestream, follow the fundraising total and donate throughout the event. Fundraising was woven into the entertainment itself, with donations helping teams reach targets and unlocking additional challenges and moments during the livestream.
Aimee Sutcliffe (pictured), strategy lead at Engage, said: “It’s been fantastic to support GOSH Charity on this campaign and see the fundraising total climb well beyond its original target. We’re proud to have played a part by creating the digital experience around the event, but the real credit sits with the GOSH Charity team, everyone involved in the livestream and, of course, everyone who donated.
“Knowing that those donations are helping support the new Children’s Cancer Centre makes the success of the campaign all the more meaningful.”
The Leeds agency, which picked up a Prolific North Champions Award double of Independent Agency and Digital Agency of the Year in 2025, delivered the project using its in-house UX/UI design, development and digital experience teams, creating a responsive microsite designed to support the campaign before and throughout the live event.
