Lauren Laverne to join Woman’s Hour team for new late-night shows

Lauren Laverne is to join the Woman’s Hour team for a new late-night series on BBC Radio 4.

Beginning in August, Late Night Woman’s Hour will feature “mischievous and unbridled conversation” on subjects including identity and shame in the 21st century.

The series will run over four weeks.

Woman’s Hour, which has been on air since 1946, used to be part-produced at MediaCityUK before the BBC moved the production of all episodes to London.
