LadBible teams up with Channel 4 for foreign affairs series

Channel 4 is to team up with viral news publisher LadBible on a new foreign affairs documentary series.

The broadcaster will provide Manchester-headquartered LadBible with film rushes from the series Unreported World. Ladbible will then produce tailor-made videos using the footage for each of its key platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter – in the five-part series.

The first video will be taken from Krishnan Guru-Murthy’s story on the plight of the one million children fleeing poverty and hunger in Venezuela.

Channel 4 is aiming to reach a bigger youth audience with its foreign affairs journalism, while LadBible is keen to produce more quality journalism for its audience.

Unreported World is produced for Channel 4 by Quicksilver Media and offers a look at foreign stories behind the news agenda.
