Carole Keating has joined the Manchester Science Festival in a new role of creative producer.
She joins from The Fresh Group where she worked on events for Virgin Media, The Big Bang Fair and Nesta. Prior to that she was at Ear To The Ground.
Her role will be to develop and deliver the festival’s programme, which this year includes a live recording from the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry of Radio 4’s The Infinite Monkey Cage – starring Professor Brian Cox and comedian, Robin Ince.
The festival has also appointed Tania Mahmoud as partnership and collaborative programme manager.
The annual event runs from Thursday 22nd October to Sunday 1st November. This year it will be kick-starting Manchester’s designation as 2016 European City of Science.
