We are teaming up with Leeds agency HUB to host a special event with two of the most successful players in Rugby Super League history – Kevin Sinfield and Jamie Jones-Buchanan.
Alongside a virtual event on 6th November called How Businesses can learn from sport on how to build a winning team, we are hosting an exclusive in-person Q&A discussion with these two world-class sportsmen in Leeds.
Both HUB’s CEO Rob Shaw and Prolific North editor David Prior will quiz the sport stars about their experiences, find out what makes a winning team tick and how this can be applied to business environments. Places are limited for the Q&A event in Leeds, if you’d like to attend please contact the team at hello@prolificnorth.co.uk.
Kevin Sinfield, formerly a professional rugby player for Leeds Rhinos and currently the defence coach for the England Rugby League team, is perhaps better known outside of sporting circles for his fundraising efforts which have earned him an OBE.
He recently published his best-selling book ‘The Extra Mile’, a memoir which covers his career and documents the fundraising challenges on behalf of MND Association for his teammate and best friend Rob Burrow – including running seven marathons in seven days, which was the focus of a BBC documentary earlier this year.
Alongside Sinfield, Jamie Jones-Buchanan is a Rugby League coach and Head of Culture, Diversity and Inclusivity at Leeds Rhinos. He was awarded an MBE in 2022 for services to rugby league football and the community in Leeds and was part of Leeds Rhinos’ ‘Golden Generation’ which won six Super League Grand Finals and secured the World Champions title in 2012.
It’s a perfect opportunity to find out how to motivate teams and mould champions from this duo. Places are limited for the in-person Q&A discussion – if you’re interested in attending please email the team at hello@prolificnorth.co.uk.
