ITV is celebrating some of the programmes made from its Yorkshire base, with new branding around its Kirkstall Road base.
The switch-on was done by cast members from Emmerdale as well as Calendar’s Gaynor Barnes, Duncan Wood and Jon Mitchell, with John Whiston, MD of ITV in the North.
“ITV in Leeds now has some bright new branding to lighten the heart of any weary commuter along the Kirkstall Road – it definitely reflects all the exciting TV which goes on in our buildings,” said Whiston.
500 staff are based at ITV Leeds, working on programmes including Emmerdale, Countdown and Calendar. It is also home to its in-house production company, Shiver as well as the ITV archive, commercial sales, Provision and broadcast operations.
