ITV has released the trailer for new Liverpool comedy, G’wed.
Set to air on ITVX next year, G’wed is a 6x30minute series abut teenagers and how they interact with the world.It’s been made by Golden Path Productions and written by Liverpool-based Danny Kenny.
Golden Path is the indie set up by Hat Trick’s former Head of Comedy, Mario Stylianides. Stylianides has previously developed Fonejacker, The Armstrong and Miller Show and Worst Week of My Life.
G’wed’s cast includes Dylan Thomas Smith, Louis Emerick, Jake Kenny-Byrne, Max Ainsworth, Dominic Murphy and Leanne Best.
“The G’wed cast will make you laugh and at times squirm. This new comedy features such talented young actors and we cannot wait to share it,” said ITV Head of Comedy, Nana Hughes.
