ITV celebrates Yorkshire Day

ITV3 will air 15 hours of Yorkshire dramas to mark Yorkshire Day.

It will kick off programming on August 1st with the first ever episode of Where The Heart is before showing repeats of The Royal, Heartbeat, Classic Emmerdale and A Touch of Frost.

Later in the evening, it will be airing the Downton Abbey Movie, followed by DCI Banks.

Yorkshire Day takes place on 1st August, due to the regimental anniversary of the Battle of Linden in the Seven Years War, where the regiment, which later became The Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry played a key role.
