Insider Media on the move following National World takeover

Insider Media is on the move to a new head office in Manchester’s City Tower.

The move from its current Chorlton St base follows the regional business publisher’s takeover by Yorkshire Post publisher National World last year. The Insider team will join other National World employees as well as new video production facilities in the 610,000 sq ft tower – Insider will be taking up around 4,500 sq ft on the 24th-floor.

Mike Hartley, managing director of Insider and national commercial director of National World, said: “As part of the investment in our people and the rapid scaling up of our Insider business it’s fitting that we deliver the right environment for our teams.

“It is the end of an era for Insider as we say goodbye to our home of 25 years in Chorlton Street however we are delighted to be able to house our new video studio facilities and our wider National World Manchester colleagues all under the one exceptional roof.”

Insider is behind a UK-wide stable of business magazines, newsletters and events. New initiatives, including the video operation, will be unveiled in the first half of 2024 with the backing and financial support of the new owner. The lease was agreed with Schroders Capital’s real estate asset management team.
