Hospitality group celebrates Yorkshire Pudding’s £1.2m draw following successful campaign

Yorkshire hospitality group Cedar Court Hotels is celebrating the £1.2m success of its recent Yorkshire pud-themed nationwide campaign, The Pudding Run, and will host a special wrap-up dinner, presumably featuring Yorkshire Puddings, at Cedar Court Bradford on Thursday 2nd October.

The Pudding Run – the hotel group’s first B2B campaign since the pandemic – saw hotel teams hit the road, offering both hot and cold Yorkshire Pudding wraps to agents, planners and businesses right across the UK, all the while sharing updates about hotels, revamped meeting spaces and Cedar Court’s proper Yorkshire hospitality.

Generating conversation, driving engagement and leaving a lasting impression on many of those who participated, The Pudding Run – organised alongside catering partners, The Yorkshire Wrapper – saw Cedar Court visit dozens of UK businesses, with a limited number of Pudding Run office bookings still available.

The campaign has so far secured over £1.2 million worth of booking enquiries, and The Pudding Run has seen the Cedar Court team travel a total of 6,242 miles to date, serving up a whopping 1,678 Yorkshire Pudding wraps – and counting!

To mark the success of the campaign, the upcoming Pudding Run: Wrapped event will see guests and partners treated to a Best of British dinner, drinks and networking, with entertainment provided by a brass band and a DJ set from Love To Be Events residents.

The evening will also offer an opportunity for familiar faces and new connections to come together and toast one of Cedar Court Hotels’ biggest and best campaigns to date.

“Hospitality, Creativity, Connection and Fun are the at the core of Cedar Court Hotels, this campaign captured all of that and more, it’s been great visiting our industry friends and sharing all that we’ve been up to within our hotels this year. This year’s wrap up celebration event will be the gravy on the pudding as we say at Cedar Court Hotels,” said Wayne Topley, managing director at Cedar Court Hotels.
