Leeds-based global creative agency IMA has promoted Dan Veal to head of production, reporting to executive creative director, Ben Ducker.
The new position will see Veal responsible for production delivery across all accounts, overseeing end-to-end planning and output quality for film, stills, social, and post-production.
Strategically, the move ensures IMAs production model is built for the future, developing always-on, social-first content at pace. Veal will lead a team of content producers, creators and AI-enabled workflows into one joined-up offer, utilising IMA’s in-house studio. The newly appointed head of production will also spearhead the launch of new divisions over the course of 2026.
While overseeing the entire production function at IMA, he will be responsible for teams delivering projects on a global scale across household name accounts including Adidas, Jet2, Autotrader, Harringtons and Haribo.

Veal said: “In this new age of agile, always-on content, it’s important we’ve got the right people and ways of working in place to deliver at pace without losing the craft. My focus is building a joined-up production team that can deliver everything from broadcast and global productions through to creator-led social content – and harness AI-enabled workflows in a practical, responsible way where it adds value.
“2026 is a big year for that, with the launch of IMA Production, some exciting new external collaborations, and our Creators Collective – a curated network designed to unlock high-quality, scalable content across brands, channels and budgets. Very exciting times ahead.”
“Dan brings the varied production experience that brands need today in order to scale at speed, testing and learning formats and executional styles that keep consumer engagement fresh,” added executive creative director Ducker.
“The tech innovation Dan brings to the role will future proof our production offering and provide a head start for our clients in the competitive world of content creation and the rapidly changing approaches.”
IMA is a global marketing agency delivering creative-led campaigns, activations, and brand experiences from nine offices worldwide, including three locations in the UK as well as New York, South Africa, Dubai, Gibraltar, and Amsterdam.
