Manchester-based Glass Atlas has acquired performance marketing agency Summit, including its proprietary Productcaster platform, in a move designed to strengthen its capabilities across digital transformation, performance marketing and product data technology.
Founded in 1999, Summit is a performance marketing and commerce consultancy specialising in retail and eCommerce. Headquartered in Hull, the agency is a Google Premium Partner and works with clients across the full lifecycle of digital commerce strategy, from planning through to execution and optimisation.
The deal also brings Productcaster into the group – a comparison shopping service (CSS) and data feed management platform that supports more than 500 brands and powers over 15 billion shopping clicks annually across European markets, including France and the Nordics.
Clients using the platform include Wickes, Silentnight, Arco, Tommee Tippee, Levi’s and IKEA.
Glass Atlas said the acquisition adds a “layer of proprietary technology” to its offer, enabling greater product data optimisation, improved campaign execution and lower acquisition costs for clients.
The combined group will have a headcount of around 240 and revenues of £22m, with an expanded client roster including American Golf, Footasylum, Cotton Traders, Richer Sounds, RNIB, St John Ambulance and GoShorty.
The deal marks the latest step in Glass Atlas’ growth strategy following investment from Foresight Group and previous acquisitions of Brave the Skies, Bring Digital and This is Digital.
Jon Woodall, CEO of Glass Atlas, said: “Summit is a business I’ve respected for a long time. It’s built on strong fundamentals. A clear specialism in retail, long-standing client relationships, and a great track record of delivery.
“Productcaster adds an important layer of proprietary technology. As performance marketing becomes increasingly data and automation-driven, having that capability in-house is critical to how we support clients across their broader commerce strategy.
“This acquisition strengthens the platform and positions us well for the next phase of growth.”
Martin Corcoran, CEO of Summit & Productcaster, added: “This marks an important step for Summit. We’ve focused on building a great business with a clear proposition in retail marketing. As part of Glass Atlas, we’re well positioned to continue that growth with access to broader capabilities and technology.
“Productcaster has developed into a scaled platform supporting a large number of retailers across Europe. Being part of Glass Atlas provides the opportunity to continue investing in the product and extending its reach.”
The acquisition completed on 16 April 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
