Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington makes directorial debut in Yorkshire

Game Of Thrones star, Kit Harington is making his directorial debut via Leeds-based Limehouse.

Psychopomp, which has also been written by Harington, is described as a dark comedy-drama, that tells the story of a troubled man’s final journey.

It marks a return to short films for the Leeds agency, which was recommended to the actor by cinematographer (and Limehouse co-founder), Fabian Wagner.

Wagner’s film and TV credits include Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Justice League, The Crown, Venom: The Last Dance and the upcoming Masters of the Universe.

“We’re delighted to have played such a huge role in bringing Kit’s vision to life – being a small agency, it really was a full team effort right across the project. And we’re proud to have been able to bring the production to our home city and the surrounding area, strengthening Leeds’ reputation as a creative powerhouse,” said Nick Howard, Managing Director and co-founder, Limehouse.

“We’re constantly espousing the power of storytelling to our clients; it’s the very essence of our approach. This project had all the same elements we’re accustomed to on our corporate and internal comms projects, just on a bigger scale. Those elements all exist to support one central goal: bringing the story to life in the best possible way.”
