The BBC has announced further casting for its new Lancashire-based crime thriller, The Jetty.
Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who, The Cry) plays the lead role in Cat Jones’ drama for Firebird Pictures.
She will be joined by:

The 4-part series will take place in a holiday home in a scenic Lancashire town.
Detective Ember Manning must work out how it connects to a podcast journalist investigating a missing persons cold case and an illicit ‘love’ triangle between a man in his twenties and two underage girls.
But as she gets close to the truth, “it threatens to destroy her life – forcing her to re-evaluate everything she thought she knew about her past, present and the town she’s always called home.”
Described as being as much a coming-of-age story as a detective thriller, it’s asks “big questions about sexual morality, identity and memory, in the places that Me Too has left behind.”
“I’m thrilled to have such an amazing cast join Jenna Coleman in The Jetty. It’s been incredibly exciting to see my characters being brought to life by such a talented group of actors,” said Writer, Creator and Executive Producer, Cat Jones.
The series director is Marialy Rivas (Young & Wild, Perry Mason, Princesita). The executive producers are Elizabeth Kilgarriff, Sarah Wyatt, Cat Jones, Marialy Rivas, Jenna Coleman and Jo McClellan for the BBC.
BBC Studios will distribute the series internationally.
