Tom Bird

SPRING Production has expanded its business development team with the appointment of Tom Bird as strategic partnership director.

Bird began his career in the film and entertainment industry at Fox and Disney before transitioning into the world of advertising. With his extensive background spanning over 25 years in creative production and agency-client partnerships, he brings a wealth of experience to SPRING Production.

Having previously held senior positions at WPP’s Hogarth, The&Partnership and Tag, Tom’s extensive industry knowledge makes him well-positioned to drive SPRING Production’s continued growth and success.

Throughout Bird’s career, he has specialised in digital transformation, in-house agency management and leading global integrated production clients. His track record includes securing and nurturing new client relationships including News UK, Samsung, H&M, Pernod Ricard and Bristol Myers Squibb.

“I’m very happy to be joining SPRING Production during this exciting period of growth,” said Bird. “What attracted me to SPRING were the people and the agility of the company. They bring something unique to the table and are exploring AI collaboration and automation solutions. I can’t wait to get involved. I’m also excited about how this will benefit our clients and the valuable work we can do for them.”

Bird’s extensive production background and proven ability to deliver outstanding results for clients means he will play a pivotal role in driving SPRING Production’s expansion and solidifying its position as a leading creative production partner.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tom Bird to the SPRING Production family,” said Lars Bo Hanson, CEO of SPRING Production. “I’m confident he will lead our expansion and enhance our reputation in the UK. We look forward to seeing Tom bring SPRING Production into a new era of success.”

Bird will work closely with SPRING Production’s UK, EMEA, and Vietnam teams to build the Danish company’s presence in London and Manchester and help drive the business into its next phase.
