Agent, the full-service marketing agency with studios in Liverpool and Manchester, has been appointed by the Independent Football Regulator (IFR) to create its new brand and digital presence, following a competitive pitch process.
The IFR was established this year by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to protect and promote the sustainability of English football for the benefit of fans and local communities, from grassroots clubs to Premier League champions.
After law to establish the IFR was established in July, Prime Minister Keir Starmer hailed a “proud and defining moment for English football” that would usher in a “stronger, fairer future.” The new brand and website created by Agent has embodied this mission.
The new IFR logo boasts bold typography alongside the iconic football centre-circle markings. Agent also developed a highly effective full new website and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, which further conveys the new brand.

The IFR brand will stand alongside world-renowned organisations such as the Premier League and Football Association (FA), while remaining independent from government and football authorities.
