Fletchers’ Family Farm lands second series

Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher, alongside his wife Liz and their four children, is set to return to ITV with the recommission of series two of Fletchers’ Family Farm on ITV1 and ITVBe.

The series is set at the family’s farm in the Peak District and is being made by Leeds-based Lionsgate indie, Daisybeck Studios. The new series is set to broadcast this winter and will once again follow the family as they give an intimate insight into rural life, all set within the beautiful National Park.

The second series promises even more adventures as the family extend their livestock, Kelvin finally welcomes a herd of pregnant cows to the farm, they tackle an emotionally charged lambing season and they step into the showring as the kids try their luck at the county fair.

The 10 x 60 series has been recommissioned by Leanne Clarke, assistant commissioner, entertainment & daytime ITV and Paul Mortimer, director of reality & acquisitions ITV. Ben Harris is executive producer from Daisybeck Studios, with Kim Metcalfe as series producer.

Leanne Clarke, assistant commissioner, entertainment & daytime, ITV said: “We are thrilled to have Kelvin, Liz and the family return for a second series. Last series was an exciting one, as well as being extremely entertaining and insightful for viewers at home. We can’t wait to have them all back on our screens!”

Kelvin Fletcher said: “We’re incredibly excited to return to filming for the second series of Fletchers’ Family Farm. The response from our viewers has been truly heartwarming and inspiring.”

Series producer Metcalfe added: “It’s truly exciting to be back this year, we can’t wait to bring the audience more unforgettable moments and inspiring stories from the Fletcher Family. It’s set to be another season of laughter, love and the beauty of rural life.”
