As the definitive ranking of the North’s very best digital agencies is back for 2023, here’s everything you need to know about entering the ranking and what the title means to some of last year’s Top 50 agencies.
Widely regarded as the benchmark league for the region’s top performing digital agencies, Prolific North’s Top 50 Digital Agencies list combines financial successes such as turnover and profit alongside other factors such as growth and headcount.

Leeds-based Search Laboratory, part of Havas Media Group, remained in the top 10 last year maintaining its place at number six.
On what it means to be named as a Top 50 Digital Agency, CEO Chris Attewell said it’s “always a proud moment.” He added: “We continuously strive to grow our expertise, to upskill our staff and to provide more value for our clients, and this type of industry recognition shows us that we’re moving in the right direction.”
The SEO Works, based in Sheffield, made an impressive move up from 23rd place in 2021 to 18th place last year.

For Kyle Brogan, joint managing director at Fusion Unlimited, the Leeds-based agency was one of the stand-out climbers on last year’s ranking – moving up to an impressive 64 spots to 26th place.

Leeds-based ICS-digital was the 10th top digital agency on last year’s ranking.
