Creative communications agency Hatch has been reappointed by global home appliance and consumer electronics brand Hisense, with responsibility for the brand’s UK TV communications returning to Hatch alongside its renewed MDA (Major Domestic Appliance) brief.
The expanded remit sees Hatch appointed to lead PR, social, content and creative communications across Hisense’s TV portfolio, in addition to its ongoing work across the brand’s major domestic appliances business.
The appointment marks a significant strengthening of a long-standing partnership, as Hisense continues its rapid growth and premiumisation journey in the UK.
Hatch has worked alongside Hisense for more than eight years, supporting the brand across cooking, refrigeration, and laundry, helping to drive awareness, consideration and brand preference through integrated communications and creative storytelling.
The return of TV communications to Hatch reflects the success of that partnership and Hisense’s ambition to bring greater consistency, creativity and impact across its full product ecosystem and review schedule.
Under the renewed brief, Hatch will deliver an integrated approach spanning strategic press office, creative campaigns, sponsorship activation, influencer partnerships and always on social content, with a focus on building mental availability, reinforcing premium credentials and connecting Hisense’s technology leadership with culture, sport and entertainment.
Jason Madeley, managing partner at Hatch, commented: “Hisense returning its TV communications to Hatch is something we’re incredibly proud of. This is a brand we believe in and know inside out, and is a client-agency relationship built on trust, delivery and shared ambition.
“Expanding our work alongside our existing MDA activity allows us to tell a more connected, compelling brand story for the full Hisense UK portfolio which will include the brand’s sponsorship of the FIFA World Cup.”
Arun Bhatoye, Head of Marketing at Hisense UK, added: “Hatch has been a trusted partner to Hisense for many years, delivering strong results and consistently understanding our ambitions as a brand. Bringing our TV communications back into Hatch, alongside the excellent work already being delivered for our MDA range allows us to benefit from a more integrated and creative approach as we continue to grow our UK market share.”
Founded in 1969, Hisense UK is a global leader in televisions and home appliances, with a growing UK portfolio spanning TV, refrigeration, laundry and cooking. The expanded partnership with Hatch reflects Hisense’s continued investment in strategic, creative, and culturally relevant communications.
