Eight new hires and a sunshine break for Embryo team

Manchester-based digital agency Embryo has made eight new appointments in the first quarter of 2024, just in time to fly out for a team jolly in Marrakech to celebrate hitting 2023’s targets.

Hires include Chloe Maxwell from connective3 and Alice Walker-Gibbons from Journey Further, who have joined the digital PR team as digital PR account managers. Claire Wilder, previously at idhl Group has joined the SEO team as an account manager.

The company has also welcomed new starters across their sales, affiliates and content services, taking total headcount to 67.

The company has also picked up several new client wins so far this year, including BrightHR, Totum and FI Real Estates, as well as scooping Best Use of Instagram/Facebook Ads at the recent UK Paid Media Awards for its Making Waves With Meta campaign with Bluefin.

Embryo is also planning to grow further with plans to open a London office by the end of the year.

Operations director Sam Middleton said: “We’re excited to have Chloe, Alice, Louise, Olivia, Claire, Annie and both Amelias join the team. Their experience will bring a lot to the business and will play a vital role in our 2024 growth plans.”

“Q1 has been great for the company and we’re looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring for us and our clients.”

Founder and MD Ross Green added: “2024 has gotten off to a great start for Embryo, we’ve not only taken a huge step towards our growth plans with our new hires but also with our recent client wins, which include some huge names. Q2 has already got off to a promising start with lots of exciting things on the horizon.”
