Money-saving app Student Beans appoints Leeds agency

Student Beans, the money-saving app for students, has appointed Wolfenden has its first-ever retained agency.

The Leeds agency will support the roll-out of its new national digital PR and SEO programme.

Founded in 2005 by graduate brothers James and Michael Eder, Student Beans is a student loyalty platform that gives students exclusive discounts to over 1,000 brands globally.

After helping its users save more than £100million in 2020, Student Beans has tasked Wolfenden with driving its PR and off-page optimisation strategy and executing campaigns to support its customer acquisition strategy.

Student Beans has also appointed Will Weeks (above left) as its new Head of Brand and Communications and Ruby Soave as its Head of Influencer Marketing.

Student Beans founder, Mike Eder, said: “The announcement of our latest hires demonstrates the incredible growth we’ve seen across the business. Last year we grew our headcount by 50%, and we expect to double our team this year to 350 people.
