Two Manchester creative firms collaborate for bed retailer Dreams bedtime project
Audio Always and Flow Creative have teamed up as part of the launch of a new children’s project for bed retailer Dreams.
The two Manchester-based creative companies have collaborated on a new children’s bedtime story to support the launch of the brand’s new character ambassador, 'Log'.
Audio Always, founded eight years ago at MediaCity in Salford, has written and produced the story. The story introduces the character 'Log' as he heads on an adventure to help a tired Unicorn find his dreams.
The team at Flow Creative has illustrated and animated the children’s story, which will be voiced by Gavin and Stacey’s Joanna Page.
It is the latest project as part of an on-going partnership between Dreams and Audio Always which has seen a series of stories launched in summer, to celebrate Team GB Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
Head of Partnerships for Audio Always, Paul Fernley, said: “This has been a really fun project to work on and it’s been an absolute pleasure to be able to invite a fellow Manchester company like Flow Creative to work alongside us to really bring the magic of our children’s bedtime story to life. Thank you to the team at Dreams for trusting us to help introduce Log to the world.”
Karl Doran, Creative Director of Flow, added: “It was a pleasure working with Audio Always and Dreams, they really were ‘dream’ collaborators! Our illustration and animation team had a lot of fun with this project too, creating something really magical and truly feel-good. It was an international project for us as well, from the storyboarding, to the final artwork and animation our team in the UK, Spain and Portugal pulled out all the steps to create a beautiful film”.
The children’s book will be made available in Dreams UK stores and the animated and audio story is available on Spotify and YouTube.
