Rural broadband provider, Quickline, has recruited Frank Stone as its Chief Marketing and Information Officer.
For more than a decade he’s been at Digicel Group, based in Jamaica and St Lucia and, more recently, Barbados, as its Group Chief Commercial Officer.
Prior to that he spent 10 years at BT and also held roles at ntl, Dolphin Telecommunications and Cable & Wireless.
His arrival in Hull coincides with Quickline’s plans to expand its estate with a new Customer Excellence Hub at its Willerby headquarters.
The new building will house its customer-facing teams, including Sales, Customer Services, Scheduling, and Customer Onboarding.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Quickline at such an exciting time for the business. As a company that’s passionate about delivering fast, reliable broadband to rural communities, Quickline has a unique opportunity to transform the way people connect and interact with the digital world,” explained Stone.
“The communications sector is constantly evolving, and I look forward to tackling the challenges that come with ensuring customers not only have access to cutting-edge technology but also feel valued and understood.
“My focus will be on putting customers at the heart of everything we do – listening to their needs, refining our products and services, and delivering an experience that exceeds expectations. I’m looking forward to working with the talented teams at Quickline to bring our vision of seamless connectivity to life and make a real difference to the communities we serve.”
The new job will see him lead Quickline’s Product, Propositions, Marketing, Digital and Data teams
“Frank is a fantastic addition to the team, and I have no doubt that his extensive commercial experience and customer obsession will be invaluable as we move forward on our exciting growth journey. His expertise will ensure we remain laser-focused on what matters most – our customers. With Frank on board, we’re in a stronger position than ever to deliver exceptional products, services, and experiences that our customers deserve,” added Sean Royce, Quickline’s CEO.
“Further to that, the opening of our new Customer Excellence Hub at Willerby is another key milestone in our journey to transform rural connectivity. By bringing our customer-facing teams together in a purpose-built space, we’re ensuring our colleagues have everything they need to deliver the best possible service to our customers.”
