Solid Ground, the award-winning property marketing and place activation agency founded by the former Capital Properties marketing team, has been appointed by Legat Owen, the managing agent for Chester Northgate on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council, to lead the marketing, events and commercialisation at the growing city centre destination for dining, lifestyle and social occasions.
The appointment will see Solid Ground take the reins on brand positioning, digital content, occupier marketing and public realm activation across the scheme. Exchange Square – the central event space will be at the heart of this work.
Solid Ground will be curating a year-round programme of events and activations that go beyond the current offer. The ambition is to bring in national brands, cultural pop-ups and experiential campaigns – giving companies the opportunity to activate in a high-footfall city centre location.
As part of the strategy, the team will also focus on championing the brilliant businesses already based at Chester Northgate, building a platform to raise their profile and support footfall, while setting the tone for Phase 2 of the development.
