Candidsky parent acquires leading South West B2B marketing specialist

5 Villages Group, the parent of Manchester digital marketing agency Candidsky following a 2025 takeover, has acquired Bath-based specialist B2B marketing agency Marcom, marking another important stage as the group continues its ongoing expansion.

Marcom is one of the most well-established and best-known agencies in the South West region, and has decades of experience supporting B2B organisations across the UK, Europe and beyond. It specialises in working with organisations in technology, engineering, renewables & professional services and aims to help clients hit KPIs in revenue, profits and business scalability.

The latest acquisition significantly strengthens the wider group’s combined capability across strategy, creative, performance marketing and digital growth, creating a more integrated offer for clients operating across both the B2B and B2C markets.

For clients of Candidsky, which said it welcomes the news of its new stablemate’s arrival, the new acquisition brings access to deeper strategic and B2B marketing expertise, complementing its own established strengths in SEO, paid media and conversion optimisation, the agency said.

Buddhika Amis, COO of Candidsky, said: “This is an exciting development for both our teams and our clients. Bringing together complementary capabilities allows us to support businesses in a better-connected and effective way – from shaping the right strategy and value proposition through to driving measurable growth across digital channels.

Too many businesses are still forced to manage fragmented agency relationships or accept one-size-fits-all marketing solutions that don’t best reflect their commercial goals. By combining deeper B2B expertise with Candidsky’s performance marketing capability, we’re building a model designed around fit-for-purpose solutions, measurable outcomes and genuine partnership.

“We strongly believe the best results come from long-term relationships, where teams work closely together, challenge thinking constructively and evolve strategies as businesses grow. That’s the approach we’re committed to continuing as we expand our capabilities to better serve our clients.”

The acquisition further reinforces Candidsky’s position within a growing marketing platform focused on “delivering measurable commercial outcomes and long-term client value.
