That’s TV is temporarily rebranding its network as That’s Christmas as it records its most successful ratings month to date.

The Salford Quays-based network says it will broadcast “festive party music” across its 20 locations in the UK, as well as classic episodes of dramas, including Take The High Road.

“I think we have all gotten more nostalgic during the pandemic. That’s TV has seen a surge in popularity for classic music and while unimaginable circumstances are unfolding, revisiting a time when things weren’t so unpredictable can provide a sense of contentment and escapism for our UK viewers,” explained That’s TV’s Chief Executive, Dan Cass.

“The seasonal rebranding to That’s Christmas allows us to put a specific focus on the magical music of Christmas and provide some festive cheer amongst the nation. 2020 has been a rollercoaster year, so for viewers to be able to party at home to some of their favourite Christmas music will be a truly uplifting experience at the end of a difficult year. Get ready to paaarty.”

According to BARB, That’s TV attracting more than 4m viewers in October, which is its highest ever reach recorded by the official audience ratings service. In 2019, it recorded 5m viewers, but that was through a different system – TV Panel.

That’s TV is part of That’s Media and operates 20 of the 34 local Freeview licences in the UK.
