Brilliant recruits senior leadership duo

Brilliant has appointed Phillippa Barrett and Sarah Edwards to its leadership team.

The Leeds marketing agency has hired Barrett as Account Director to oversee its food and beverage brands. With 20 years’ cross-channel experience, Barrett joins from The Training Hub, where she was Head of Marketing, she’s held senior marketing roles at Unibox, Space Zero and The Henley Coaching Partnership and earlier in her career was at Havas, TMW and dare – looking after clients including Diageo, Barilla and Unilever’s Dove.

Edwards, who runs Purple Banana Marketing, will take on the Marketing Director role at Brilliant, part-time.

She’s been tasked with crafting the agency’s own marketing strategy, as it seeks to “prioritise communication of its brand and celebrate the continued success of its team.”
