BrewDog Marketing Head joins North West agency

Richard Colson, the former Head of Brand and Marketing at BrewDog’s distilling division has joined Brandon Consultants.

Colson has worked around the world on brands including Unilever, Reckitts, Colgate Palmolive, Diageo, Jaguar Land Rover and the Heineken Group. Prior to Brewdog he was Account Director at Elmwood Singapore and spent 5 years at Design Bridge.

“I met with a lot of agencies but chose Brandon ultimately because of the scale of their ambition,” he explained.

“Richard [Taylor Founder] impressed on me where he wants to take the business and I saw this as an amazing opportunity to be involved with an agency that is truly at the beginning of its ascendency.”

The Altrincham company has also appointed Emma Godman as Senior Brand Strategist. Godman was Global Strategy and Innovation Manager for No7 skincare at Walgreen’s Boots Alliance.

“I am thrilled to be joining the highly talented team at Brandon and working with them to push the boundaries of the work we can deliver for our fantastic client partners – buckle up we are in for an exciting ride!” she added.

Further recruits include designer, James Brown, who was previously at BrandMe and Design Director, Katie Rowley, who had held the same role at Marks.
