Brazen gets moving following stationery win

Brazen has been appointed by stationery giant, Ryman, following a competitive pitch process.

The agency will be responsible for Ryman’s PR, social media and influencer activations to support the business’ portfolio of 200+ stores and e-commerce site, with a focus on raising awareness of its breadth of range and its in-store service offering.

Brazen has already supported the brand throughout the all-important Back to School period and is now turning its attention to generating noise around its Christmas offering and CSR commitments.

The Manchester-based agency was selected by Ryman after impressing with its creativity and results-driven approach, as well as its extensive experience in and knowledge of the value retail sector.

Managing Director at Brazen, Sasha Makel, said: “Ryman is one of the high-street’s longest running and most nostalgic brands – synonymous with that exciting back to school feeling.

“Now, as the retailer celebrates 130 years, our job is to tell the brand story, drive all year-round relevance and ignite brand love among a younger audience.”

Ryman’s head of marketing, Chloe Danskin, added: “There are very few retailers left on the high street with Ryman’s vast presence and heritage and it is testament to our great range of products and value that we’ve stood the test of time.

“As we look to the future, we wanted to partner with a brave PR, social and influencer agency to help craft our brand story and ensure we retain relevance. Brazen’s passion, creativity and extensive experience in the retail sector made them the obvious choice for this next chapter.”
