The senior leadership team for the newly rebranded Bauer Media Audio UK has been announced.

Among the promotions are Ben Cooper, who joined from the BBC last year and becomes Chief Content and Music Officer. Also Graham Bryce, who used to be Group MD for its Northern and Scottish stations has been named Chief Operating Officer.

The restructure as well as the rebrand from Bauer Radio UK, are to refocus the group from its “predominantly live radio business” to an audio operation, with “broadcast radio complemented by on demand content.”

Cooper is a former Controller of BBC Radio 1 and his new role will bring all content and music across all platforms under a single leader for the first time.

Bryce, who was previously Group Managing Director for the Hits Radio Brand Network, will now become responsible for “the vision and the pace” of the group’s growth plans.

Elsewhere, Steve Parkinson, becomes Chief Strategic Partnerships and Events Officer; Anne-Marie Lavan has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO); and Peter Davies is Chief of Staff.

“We are passionate about making our listeners’ lives sound better, whether that be through live radio, or through exciting new formats and experiences. The audio landscape is changing at a rapid pace and we see so much opportunity to develop differentiated creative audio products, grow audiences and offer access to valuable audiences for advertisers,” said Dee Ford CBE, Group Managing Director for Bauer Media Audio UK.

“Graham, Ben, Steve, Anne-Marie and Peter bring outstanding  experience, passion and determination to support our transformation of Bauer Media Audio UK from radio into the exciting wider world of audio.”
