Joanne Goodwin has been named as the new editor of Cheshire Life, following the departure of Katie Mulloy.
Goodwin has been at Archant since 2006 and edited a number of its titles in the Midlands, before becoming Editorial Director of its Bride titles and events.
“It is a rare thing in 2020 – a print and digital publication that is ambitious, growing its first-class team, increasing both circulation and revenues and which has nurtured and retained its prestige, brand value and standing,” she said.
“It’s a job I’ve long coveted, have great ambition for, and which represents everything I know and love about publishing and journalism.”
Before joining Archant, she worked at Staffordshire Sentinel Newspapers.
She takes over from Katie Mulloy, who only joined the title in March last year. The former Editor of Women’s Health moved her family from London to Cheshire for the role.
