Addiction treatment and rehab centre appoints PR agency

The UK’s only purpose-built addiction treatment and rehabilitation centre has appointed Democracy as its retained agency.

The private facility in Cheshire has turned to the Manchester agency to grow awareness and authority. Democracy will cover traditional PR as well as blog writing and social media support.

“This is a big brief to tell serious, emotive stories to a national audience with the potential to make a real difference,” said Jennifer O’Grady, founder of Democracy.

“Addiction is an increasingly concerning issue in the country, dominating the media agenda, and the work Delamere does is innovative and important, as it helps those affected so much.”

The centre is increasingly working with entrepreneurs and HR directors to help high flying execs suffering from burn out get the support they need to return to the workplace and the agency has already secured pieces for the clinic on BBC Breakfast and articles in The Guardian, iNews, The Sun, and Daily Telegraph.

“Democracy has the contacts and the new sense to deliver meaningful results that have already impacted on enquiries and search,” added Founder and former ad agency director, Martin Preston of Delamere.
