Digital job fair to be held in Leeds

“Hundreds of positions” are on offer at Leeds Digital Job Fair, which is being held at the First Direct Arena next Wednesday.

The event, organised by technology job board, Herd, will have more than 30 employers on site, including Sky Betting & Gaming, Google and William Hill.

“All of the city’s major tech employers will be there to talk about the wide range of career opportunities available for good candidates,” said Herd founder Amy De-Balsi.

“It’s free to register and I urge anyone seeking to advance their career in the digital sector to sign up.  With just a few days to go, places are now filling up very quickly.”

It’s being sponsored by Leeds City Council, Leeds Beckett University, Tech North and Leeds BID.

“Leeds is now rightly regarded as one of the country’s leading digital cities,” added Leeds City Council chief executive Tom Riordan.

“But we want to maintain our remarkable record of success which means keeping our outstanding technology talent here.

“The inaugural Leeds Digital Job Fair is a forum for the city’s finest digital employers to talk directly to skilled people and provide a further boost to the local economy.”
