Monday Moves: Formisimo, Epiphany, Stickyeyes, Manchester United and more

Each week, Monday Moves collates all the recent job-related news on Prolific North, as well as running through all the new opportunities on our job board.

It was a busy few days for new appointments within the region last week.

In agency land, Manchester agency HGA Creative promoted Dan Laurence to the role of managing director, Leigh Purves has left Peppermint Soda to join Good Relations as associate director and Tangerine added eight new recruits to its 60-strong team.

DS.Emotion appointed former Raw Design Studio designer Tom Heaton as its creative director.

In broadcasting, BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire has a temporary new boss while Juice FM has appointed a new content director.

Elsewhere, Cumbria Magazine has a new editor and Shop Direct’s Gareth Jones has been named as the firm’s first deputy CEO.

On the jobs board, Formisimo is looking for a Business Development Manager to help “shape our sales process and execute the strategy”. Four years’ experience is required – and a perk you’ll get in return is a flexible approach to both hours and holidays.

In Leeds, Stickyeyes is looking for a Front End Developer with a year’s experience who can hand code HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

The agency also needs an SEO Lead to take responsibility for “servicing medium to high level SEO accounts”; around three years’ experience is a must.

It also needs a Digital Content Editor to “support and drive activity” to ensure exposure for clients across all digital channels. A track record as a digital editor or journalist in a marketing or magazine / consumer news environment is required.

Fresh Group has an opening for a Senior Account Manager / Event Producer and an Account Manager / Junior Event Producer who has experience working with large retail clients.

Manchester United are still looking for a Managing Editor to work on its range of internal club publications – but be quick, the closing date is this Friday.

Back in Leeds, Epiphany has a number of jobs going. It needs an SEO Strategist – somebody with a “history of innovation” – while it also has opportunities for a Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, Account Executive, Display Analyst and Earned Media Executive.

Dentsu Aegis is after a number of people across its Manchester agencies. First up, it needs a Senior Digital Media Manager and Paid Search Manager for its iProspect operation.

AMNET is looking for a graduate to work as a Trading Assistant while Amplifi needs a Print Media Executive in charge of managing the delivery of effective media spend and a Media Executive for its Data Planning team.

Finally, Dentsu Aegis has openings for an Ad Operations Assistant, an Account Manager for Vizeum Manchester and two opportunities in Edinburgh – Broadcast Media Manager for Carat and Digital Media Executive for iProspect.
