Fashion shows, portfolio reviews and access to Glow Up artists are among what’s on offer at a new one-day event launching in Manchester this month.
The Creative Edit takes over Aviva Studios on Monday 19 October, bringing more than 30 brands and industry professionals together for a day of workshops, masterclasses, live demonstrations and networking across fashion, beauty, film, photography and digital content.
Organisers say the event is designed to “make the region’s creative industries more accessible,” giving visitors of all ages and experience levels the chance to meet people already working in the sector face to face.

Confirmed names include MUA Cosmetics and Warpaint Magazine, who will run live make-up demos featuring artists from the BBC’s Glow Up, alongside a fashion show from Manchester Fashion Movement showcasing local designers.
Co-founder Taibah Roberts said the event aims to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.
She added: “There is an incredible amount of creative talent across Manchester and the North, but talent alone does not always open the right doors.”
Taibah continued that the day is about giving people “fresh knowledge, useful contacts and a much clearer idea of what their next step could be,” whether they’re just starting out or already established in the industry.
The event will also bring education providers into the mix, with colleges, universities and training organisations able to connect directly with employers to build clearer routes from learning into work.
Greater Manchester’s creative and digital sector employs 156,000 people and contributes £6.5 billion a year to the regional economy, making it the UK’s highest-performing creative cluster outside London, according to GM Business Growth Hub.
The Creative Edit takes place on Monday 19 October 2026 at Aviva Studios, Manchester and is aimed at creatives of all ages and experience levels.
On the day, visitors can expect live demos, workshops, masterclasses, a fashion show, portfolio reviews, competitions and industry talks
30+ brands and partners are expected with confirmations to date including MUA Cosmetics, Warpaint Magazine, BBC Glow Up artists and Manchester Fashion Movement.
