Lexington North has appointed Ryan Brambles to the newly created role of director and head of corporate communications North.
Brambles brings more than a decade of senior communications experience, through both in-house and agency roles. Previously as communications director for Right Formula, and in associate director roles at both Edelman and Grayling.
Previously, he has also led in-house corporate communication initiatives at global brands, IBM and Honda and has led strategic communications programmes for major global businesses including Visa, SAP, Shell, THG, and Formula 1.

Brambles will drive the corporate communications offer at Lexington North, supporting clients to build and protect their reputations and deliver engaging campaigns on both a regional and national level.
Lexington opened its Manchester office in 2008 and today claims the title of the largest dedicated public affairs office based in the city, with almost 20 years of experience working across the English regions.
Brambles will work closely with Rob Loughenbury, the managing director of Lexington North.
The firm added that the appointment represents “a significant investment in corporate communications and reputation,” as the agency continues to build beyond its traditional strength in public affairs.
Brambles said: “The North of England is entering a new era of influence, both politically and commercially. Organisations that can successfully engage stakeholders and tell authentic, compelling stories will be best placed to capitalise on the opportunities ahead. I’m delighted to be joining Lexington at such an exciting moment and look forward to helping clients based in the region and across the UK tell their stories up and down the country.”
MD Loughenbury added: “Ryan is joining our team at a time of real momentum, both for the corporate communications practice at Lexington and for Manchester. The opening of No.10 North, right next door to Lexington, will bring commercial opportunities to Manchester and the regions. Ryan’s deep expertise in strategic communications and reputation management for some of the world’s most recognisable brands will be invaluable to businesses seeking a commercial advantage in an increasingly devolved UK.”
