MoneySuperMarket has added travel insurance to its ChatGPT app.
The brand created the UK’s first financial services app with the AI platform earlier this year.
This new release will add travel insurance products to its offering.
“People are increasingly using AI when planning important decisions like travel,” explained Matthew Creswell, Chief Technology and Data Officer at MONY Group.
“By bringing travel insurance into our app in ChatGPT, we’re making it easier for people to compare options and choose the right cover in seconds.
“Whether someone is planning a last-minute trip or an annual holiday, they can now explore travel insurance through our trusted comparison service – directly within ChatGPT.”

The MoneySuperMarket app in ChatGPT now searches hundreds of insurers, energy suppliers and financial service providers.
For travel insurance it will answer questions to compare policies and choose the right cover – including single trip and annual policies and single traveller or group cover.
MoneySuperMarket is part of MONY Group, a FTSE 250 business with over 13m active users.
ChatGPT-maker, OpenAI has been in the headlines recently after admitting that its AI had hacked the site, Hugging Face. Described as a “wake-up call” for the entire tech industry, OpenAI said that some of its advanced AI models had gone rogue and hacked the start-up.
Since then the UK’s AI Security Institute revealed that Anthropic’s Mythos AI had tried to fake profiles to trick people into attempted cyber attacks, just days after Anthropic confirmed that its AI models had hacked into the systems of 3 organisations on their own.
