Northwest ticketing platform announces Fish56Octagon as headliner for debut live DJ streaming partnership with hip Spanish automaker

Independent ticketing and event discovery platform Skiddle has announced Fish56Octagon as the inaugural headliner for VAULT, its new live-broadcast DJ series created in partnership with Spanish automotive brand CUPRA.

Taking place on Wednesday 2 July at CUPRA City Garage Manchester – the UK’s first “multi-purpose cultural and automotive hub” – the launch event will see the viral DJ and tastemaker perform an intimate set in front of a limited live audience, while being broadcast to viewers online via livestream.

Announced earlier this month, VAULT is a new monthly concept from Skiddle, bringing together club culture and digital storytelling live from the heart of Manchester city centre. Designed to bridge the gap between live events and audiences online, each edition will be captured by a multi-camera production setup, showcasing exclusive DJ performances and the atmosphere inside the venue.

Full sets will be streamed live via Skiddle’s YouTube channel, while artist interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and short-form content will be shared across Skiddle’s social platforms.

Since rising to prominence through his hugely popular online series celebrating forgotten dance music gems, Fish56Octagon has become one of the most recognisable personalities in UK electronic music. Known for his infectious enthusiasm, deep knowledge of dance music culture and ability to connect generations of clubbers, he has built a devoted following across social media while earning widespread acclaim throughout the dance music community.

His appearance marks the first chapter of the VAULT series, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience one of dance music’s most in-demand selectors within an intimate setting.

Free tickets for the launch event will be available exclusively through Skiddle, with capacity strictly limited and demand expected to be high.

Jamie Scahill, head of marketing at Skiddle, said: “Fish56Octagon felt like the perfect artist to launch VAULT. Few people have done more in recent years to celebrate dance music culture and introduce classic tracks to a new generation of fans.

“His ability to connect with audiences both online and in person aligns perfectly with what we’re aiming to achieve through the series, and we’re excited to welcome him for what promises to be a special first edition.”
