A familiar face to millions of soap viewers is heading to Hollyoaks but not in the way fans might expect.
Actor Brooke Vincent, best known for her long-running role in Coronation Street and as a finalist on Dancing on Ice, is joining Channel 4’s flagship drama this summer.
Fresh images released by Lime Pictures show Vincent on set alongside the show’s iconic sign, marking her return to full-time TV acting after several years away from the soap spotlight.

Visiting the set, she said: “I am so excited to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks for such a powerful storyline. I am so grateful for this opportunity to be back on screen playing a brand-new character, plus my family will be happy I’m back in a full-time job haha!”
Vincent became a household name playing Sophie Webster on Coronation Street between 2004 and 2019, having first appeared on screen in The League of Gentlemen.
Alongside her TV work, she has built a broader media career, including stage roles in Be My Baby and The Syndicate, and a stint hosting drive time on Hits Radio. More recently, she appeared in Drama Queens in 2024.
Her move into Hollyoaks signals a high-profile return to soap – and with a “powerful storyline” teased, it’s likely to be more than just a cameo.
