Entries are officially open for the 2026 Prolific North Creative Awards – and this year, we’re handing part of the creative direction over to you.
First things first: the early bird deadline is midnight on 2 March. If you’ve delivered standout work across design, digital, film, PR or integrated campaigns, now’s the time to enter and secure the reduced rate.
The awards return to Victoria Warehouse, bringing together the North’s creative community for a night of celebration. But for 2026, we’re adding a twist – a themed ceremony!
We’ve shortlisted four concepts, each rooted in Northern culture, heritage and future-facing creativity and we’re asking our readers to choose which one should set the tone for the night of the 25th June, when the awards will be handed out. The themes to choose from are:
😎 Iconic Northerners
Come as your favourite legend – from Alan Turing to Liam Gallagher or even viral star Angry Ginge. A celebration of Northern brilliance in all its forms.
🚶 Madchester
A nod to the city’s cultural heyday, inspired by The Haçienda era energy. Think strobe lights, bucket hats, baggy silhouettes and that unmistakable yellow-and-black aesthetic – all set against the raw brick backdrop of Victoria Warehouse.
☮ Warehouse Woodstock
Peace, love and plenty of personality. A 60s/70s bohemian vibe reimagined for an industrial setting – summer solstice spirit meets creative sector cool.
🔈 Electric North
The future is Northern. Cyberpunk neon, digital art, immersive lighting and a futuristic rave aesthetic that transforms Victoria Warehouse into a next-gen playground.
Have your say
Voting is now open, and it only takes a minute to choose your favourite theme.
Then make sure your entries are in before midnight on 2 March.
