MediaCity’s Immersive Technologies Innovation Hub (MITIH) has partnered with Grow with Google to launch a new workshop series designed to help Greater Manchester entrepreneurs adopt and apply AI within their businesses.
The free event – Digital Futures: Empowering Growth, Leadership & Innovation with AI – takes place on 13 November at HOST, the Home for Skills & Technology in MediaCity.
Attendees can take part in a range of interactive workshops throughout the day, including Making Sense of AI, Practical AI for Business, Social Media Masterclass, AI Prompting Essentials, and Leadership for the Digital Age.

Delivered by MITIH as part of its Spark Salford accelerator programme, the sessions are aimed at helping SMEs, creatives and founders understand how AI tools can streamline operations, boost productivity, and strengthen digital strategies.
“Digital Futures is about making AI accessible and actionable for every business,” said Rodolphe Soulard, Spark Salford Programme Lead and Head of Enterprise and Investment at MITIH.
“Many business owners know AI has potential but don’t know where to start. This event, in partnership with Grow With Google, bridges that gap by showing how it can directly support marketing, leadership, and business growth.”
Spark Salford is a fully-funded accelerator that supports Salford-based SMEs in adopting emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and immersive media to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Launched in 2023, MITIH aims to revitalise the region’s innovation ecosystem by fostering collaboration, co-investment and partnerships. The hub aims to provide innovators and businesses with access to expert support, funding, and cutting-edge technology and facilities.
Grow With Google is a Google initiative that offers free digital skills training to individuals and businesses, designed to help them grow their careers, expand businesses, and understand technology.
