Salamanda Media teams up with Sandi Toksvig to unearth the UK’s Hidden Wonders

Salamanda Media in Salford has been commissioned to make a new 4-part series for More4.

Sandi Toksvig’s Hidden Wonders (w/t), will feature professional and amateur history hunters at 4 archaeological dig sites to capture the stories of undiscovered treasures as they emerge from the ground for the first time in hundreds of years.

At each dig, Toksvig is joined by archaeologist Raksha Dave who will work with the teams of experts excavating the land.

“This is the dream job for a history and archaeology enthusiast like me. It is a total privilege to be given access to professional archaeological dig sites and to join Raksha and the teams as they dig to reveal the history of our country from right beneath our feet,” said Toksvig.
