Vypr marketing chief steps up to Chief Revenue Officer

Consumer insights platform, Vypr, has promoted Sam Gilding to become its International Chief Revenue Officer.

It comes following a £4m investment from private equity firm YFM – taking the combined investment to date to in excess of £13m.

That cash injection is being used to expand into international markets and new sectors.

Gilding, previously its Sales and Marketing Director, joined the company in 2020.

“We’re at a critical stage of growth where it’s essential we have the right people in place to achieve our plans,” he said.

“Our international expansion is underpinned by our team’s deep-rooted retail industry knowledge and the insight we have from supporting global brands and retailers like Kraft Heinz, Red Bull, and Starbucks. Our strategy is to promote from within our brilliant team and bring in those with new skills that will propel us forward.”

His team includes 2 business development managers for global markets, who’ve been promoted internally and two external hires.
