Local marketing agency renews Stockport County FC sponsorship deal

Stockport-based digital marketing agency GroFu has announced the extension of its official sleeve sponsorship with Stockport County Football Club for a further two seasons, covering the 2025/26 and 2026/27 campaigns.

The renewed agreement builds on a successful inaugural season and will see the GroFu brand continue to appear on the sleeve of County’s first-team kits across all competitions. In addition, GroFu will retain its presence on the club’s LED advertising boards at Edgeley Park and maintain sponsorship of the club’s official match preview, distributed ahead of every league fixture via the club website and social media channels.

The announcement coincides with the launch of County’s new 2025/26 PUMA home kit, which features a striking new design blending traditional club colours with a contemporary aesthetic.

GroFu, a full-service marketing agency based in the heart of Stockport, has built a reputation for delivering measurable returns on investment, providing clients with clear, jargon-free insights into campaign performance. The company’s commitment to transparent reporting and customer-focused outcomes aligns closely with the club’s community ethos and ambition.

GroFu’s managing director Patrick McFadden said: “Our first year as sleeve sponsor has been an incredibly positive experience. We’re proud to continue supporting a club that plays such a meaningful role in our community, both on and off the pitch. This renewed partnership reflects our shared values, and we’re looking forward to deepening our collaboration over the next two seasons. We see this as the continuation of a long-term relationship that will benefit both sides.”

Olivia Hanvey, commercial operations director for Stockport County, added: “We are absolutely thrilled that GroFu has chosen to extend their partnership with us for another two years. Their first season as our official sleeve sponsors has been a fantastic success, and it’s clear they share our core values as a forward-thinking, community-based football club. We’re incredibly excited to see their logo continue to take pride of place on our kits as we push forward in League One.”

GroFu said that the renewal reflects its commitment to ongoing investment in the local community and its support of Stockport’s sporting and cultural growth.
