Ex-Football League boss joins Yorkshire-based AI firm to support global growth push

Yorkshire-based AI company IntelliAM has announced the appointment of Dr Keith Harris as its new non-executive director and chairman-elect.

The Aquis-listed firm, which develops AI and machine learning solutions for the manufacturing sector, said the move marks a key moment in its scale-up journey as it expands globally.

IntelliAM counts six of the world’s top 12 food and drink producers among its customers, including Mars, Muller, Weetabix, ADM and Hovis.

Dr Harris will formally take up the role on 1st July 2025. With over 35 years of experience in cross-border M&A and capital markets, his previous roles include chief executive of HSBC Investment Bank and senior positions at Morgan Grenfell and Drexel Burnham. He has also served as chairman of Wembley National Stadium and the Football League.

Currently, he chairs NASDAQ-listed gene therapy company MeiraGTx and is executive chairman of Global Connectivity Plc, quoted on AQSE.

The announcement follows a series of senior appointments at the company, including Jane Robinson as VP of business development, Ian Wild as VP of product and Owain Lewis as VP of data engineering.
