Shaping Cloud in Manchester has been appointed to work with the Bolton Citizens Advice Bureau as it navigates over to Office 365.

The move will mean that the charity’s staff will be able to get access to shared email, calendars, instant messaging and social networking service, Yammer.

“Moving to the cloud enables us to resolve our client problems more quickly, and effectively and share expertise around the organisation. It has moved our IT along into a new paradigm. It has also significantly increased the security of our systems,” said Richard Wilkinson, Bolton CAB’s chief officer.

Shaping Cloud was recently named on the Government’s G-Cloud Framework, which means they can supply cloud services to public sector clients.

“These are exciting times for Bolton CAB as they can now scale their services when it makes sense, and enable staff to work together from anywhere. We’re looking forward to continuing to help them innovate and improve their services,” added Carlos Oliveira, managing director of Shaping Cloud.
