The films explore the benefits of making ‘dementia-friendly’ changes to the home, as well as showcasing the practice of Manchester services, specifically EachStep Blackley care home.

John Hughes, communications and marketing manager for Community Integrated Care, said: “Dementia is one of the most challenging issues facing society today, so we were delighted to work with Lizardfish and The Social Care Institute for Excellence on this important video.”

Lizardfish TV’s managing director, Amee Fairbank, added: “We were proud to gain these commissions on a subject which is current and hugely important. We are committed to delivering films which inspire and educate and we were lucky to meet incredible individuals who are living with dementia, and their families and carers.”

The films can be viewed here and here.
