Wrench joins from research and development company C-Tech Innovation, where he was group manager for knowledge and management services for six years, and prior to that worked for eight years at Mouchel in a variety of consultancy roles.
He said: “Joining ICE Creates is a very exciting opportunity. My expertise will complement the existing team and help enhance the overall ICE Creates offer.
“We will help our clients to challenge the status quo, to build new processes, systems, products and services in more effective ways by addressing the barriers they face and applying the best approaches to creativity, innovation and growth.”
Wirral-headquarted ICE works with a large number of public sector organisations including NHS trusts, local authorities and housing associations, as well local enterprise partnerships, universities and private businesses.
Chief executive Stuart Jackson added: “Our aim is to apply our skills to benefit other organisations – to make them more innovative and so find new solutions to the issues that face them. That’s why Justin’s appointment is so important to us.”
