Hewlett Packard Enterprise is advertising for new staff as it moves into Manchester city centre.

Today the tech firm officially opened its temporary office at Manchester Technology Centre, ahead of the completion of its permanent 20,000sq ft new home at Circle Square, next year.

“Manchester is vibrant, innovative and growing, so is well aligned with our business and our culture. People make companies and as we continue to grow, recruiting and developing talent is a priority,” said Marc Waters, Managing Director, UK & Ireland, HPE.

“Manchester is a growth location, we currently have over 40 open roles with more to follow. We bring together the brightest minds to advance the way people live and work.”

HPE has taken up a 10 year lease for the Circle Square office, which includes 200 permanent seats and the capacity for an additional 100.

“Manchester has long been renowned as a city with digital in its DNA. For Manchester to attract investment and jobs growth from global tech giant HPE firmly demonstrates the depth and scale of specialist tech talent that’s making us the location of choice for ambitious firms,” added Tim Newns, CEO of MIDAS – Manchester’s inward investment agency.
